                                         Welcome to our website.
Nichole and Joe co-founded Ghost & Spirit Investigators to share with others a common
interest in the Paranormal. We are retired Deputy Sheriffs from New York and moved to the
Alton, Illinois area after learning about the unusual amount of reported HAUNTINGS in this area.
We will post some pictures and EVPs from our investigations to share with others and
hopefully some of you will send us pictures and EVPs from your experiences.

We both bring with us skills from our previous job as a Sheriff's officer. We are both very observant,
tenacious, great puzzle solvers and we finish what we start. We loved our job as officers and that is why
we bring those skills and attributes to the paranormal. We love to travel and are willing to go anywhere to
help with or seek out paranormal activity. We have some of the latest in technology and equipment to help
with our investigations. It is very important for you to understand that there is no charge for our services.
We love to help others and that is how we get our reward.
                                  Recent Investigations as of 12/21/11
Nikki & I have visited a couple of very interesting locations in the past couple of months. We went to Missouri
State Prison in November and had a great time. I could really say it was a gas.(there is a gas chamber there).
In December we investigated the R Theatre in Auburn, Illinois  I have to say that was really different. Check out
some of the pix I posted. You must stop in at some of the following places we mention. This past year we
returned from the Lemp Mansion where we spent Nikki's  birthday. Of course the Lemp is her favorite place to
go and not just for the anviance but the food is the best. Don't forget to order the Bananas Foster for desert.
We came away with so many more experiences,EVPS and pix which we will post some of. If you ever have a
chance you have to stay at the Lemp Mansion at least once. The Unitarian Church in Alton, Il.,The Saint Louis
Cafe and the Mermaid House both in Lebanon, Il. were great and we posted new data. We had some new class
A EVP'S to post and some great pix. Our prior investigations at the Flamingo hotel in Las Vegas was hoping to
catch some evidence of Bugsy Siegel's appearence in the beautiful garden where there is a monument
dedicated to him. We are sorry to report that although we had our night vision cameras and digital recorders
running we were unable to find any evidence. We also had the pleasure of doing an investigation at the Mineral
Springs Hotel and the Alton Cemetary in Alton, Illinois again. We shared some experiences but we did not
come up with any evidence of Paranormal activity on this adventure. This is how this business goes. The
paranormal does not act out on cue as we all know only too well. We had also intended to visit the Waverly
sanitarium in Louisville, Ky. but bad planning by myself stopped that from happening. We did enjoy visiting
Louisville and found it to be a very interesting city. Some of our other investigations were;
Gettysgurgh,Pa.,McPike Mansion in Alton Il. Lincoln Theater in Decatur IL. Alton Cemetary in Alton, Il., Vaughn
Cemetary in Wood River, Il., Liberace's dressing room and Greenfield Park Cemetary in Las Vegas, Nevada,
Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, Mo., Mineral Springs Hotel in Alton, Il.
